about

Not surprisingly this is the second album taken from the Song a Week project I started in April 2010. Yes, a song a week has all been done before but I'm having such a blast writing and recording at the moment that none of that matters. I can say with a hand on my heart that these are the most rewarding sessions I have ever been involved in. Although, as I'm sure you can tell, I am no sound engineer but when you capture a song for the first time there is something just so magical about it, which I never seem to be able to recreate no matter how good my performance is. This is why I'm choosing not to wait for a big studio to open its doors to a boy and his guitar. I'm quite content (certainly not the enemy of invention in my book) with my 8-track and a cup of tea.

As always thanks for listening

Ben

P.S. I just realised, for those of you that need to be spoon fed, the above statement doesn't really tell you anything about what this record sounds like but I would think you haven't got this far without hearing something already? ok… "Gentle low-fi indie acoustic folk" that should do for now.
